Glenboig Neighbourhood House
Glenboig Neighbourhood House is a voluntary organisation, established in 2000 with charitable status SCO32236, which is run by a voluntary management committee. We are situated, semi-rurally, in an ex-mining village three miles from Coatbridge, the nearest town. We have eleven years' experience offering a community-based response to need in the local area. We are a unique, proactive organisation and the hub of the community.
Our aim is to make the lives of the residents of Glenboig and the surrounding areas healthier, wealthier and fairer; safer and stronger, greener and smarter. We do this by engaging with people of all ages and delivering a range of services to meet the needs of the community as a whole.
Glenboig Village Park, situated four miles north of Coatbridge, is a special place. Officially opened in summer 2004, it is a prime example of what can be achieved when a local community gets together to make improvements to their local greenspace.
