Glenboig Neighbourhood House

Today, Tomorrow, Always!

The Youth Clubs and the Jelly Bean Club are run throughout year. Youngsters enjoy learning new skills and taking part in everything from fairy walks to cookery classes, cycle groups, arts and crafts, chicken handling and bowling. The clubs foster creativity, social relationships and self-esteem.

Anybody that’s serious about community work doesn’t do it for accolades. When any of us is privileged enough to receive one though, we’re extremely grateful and just a little proud.

Being recognised by our peers for the quality of our community work lets us know that we're achieving so much more than being on the right track; it lets us know that the work we do makes a genuine, tangible difference to people’s lives – that the various community initiatives, implemented by our fantastic staff and volunteers, really do enhance the lives of the people of Glenboig.

So, we're pleased to announce that two of our workers have received awards in recognition of their exemplary youth work: well done Meghan and Jemma! You both very much deserve your Youth Work Changes Lives awards. You are a credit to Glenboig Neighbourhood House and we couldn’t be happier for you both.
